The drawing sold Friday evening with the RochesurYon carries the label of the Schwitter sale (1883) and the sale Cronier (1905), whereas hitherto this paternity had been allotted to the Swiss drawing because of a “amalgam due to a lack of precision in the catalogue of the Cronier sale”.

Estimated between 40.000 and 60.000 euros, this drawing with blood carried out about 1715 is entitled “Ravaudeuse” and interferes its history with that another quasiidentical drawing, held by a Swiss collector.

A drawing of JeanAntoine Watteau, a study in opposite direction preceding the table lost “the occupation according to the age”, was sold Friday evening 150.000 euros with a Parisian gallery, one learned Saturday near the appraiser Me Jean Raynaud.

The two drawings are so close that “it would seem that the history of our sheet and that of the Swiss drawing were confused”, underlines one of the same source.
